At Posh Nails Salon, we understand that plans can change. However, last-minute cancellations and no-shows prevent us from serving other clients who are waiting for appointments. To ensure we can provide the best service to all our clients, we have established the following cancellation policy.

By booking an appointment at Posh Nails Salon, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Cancellation Notice Requirements

At Posh Nails Salon, we understand that plans change. We offer free same-day cancellations to accommodate your busy schedule.

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment at any time without penalty, including on the same day of your appointment.

Please Note: While we do not charge cancellation fees, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible when you need to cancel. This allows us to offer your appointment slot to other clients who are waiting for availability.

2. Late Arrival Policy

We understand that traffic, weather, and unexpected circumstances can cause delays. If you know you will be late, please call us at +1 815-919-2554 as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Please note that arriving late may result in:

  • Shortened service time to stay on schedule for other clients
  • The need to reschedule your appointment
  • Inability to complete all requested services

3. No-Show Policy

A “no-show” occurs when a client:

  • Does not arrive for a scheduled appointment
  • Does not contact us to cancel or reschedule
  • Cancels after the required notice period without valid emergency circumstances

Important: We value our relationship with all clients. If you have an emergency or extenuating circumstances, please contact us to discuss your situation. We handle cases individually and understand that genuine emergencies occur.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
  • Debit cards

4.2 Payment Due

Payment is due at the time of service. For special events or bridal packages, a deposit may be required at the time of booking, with the balance due on the day of service.

4.3 Pricing

Prices are subject to change without notice. Current pricing will be provided at the time of booking or upon request. The final price may vary based on the complexity of the service, additional time required, or extra materials used.

4.4 Tips and Gratuity

Gratuity is not included in service prices and is appreciated but not required. Tips can be added to credit card payments or given in cash.

4.5 Gift Certificates

We offer gift certificates for purchase. Gift certificates:

  • Are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Do not have an expiration date unless required by law
  • Can be used toward any service or product
  • Are not replaceable if lost or stolen

5. Special Event and Group Bookings

Special considerations apply to group appointments, including:

  • Bridal parties
  • Prom groups
  • Wedding parties
  • Birthday celebrations
  • Corporate events

 

For group bookings, we require:

  • Advance notice of any changes to group size
  • Final headcount confirmation [TIME PERIOD] before appointment
  • Deposits that may be non-refundable or partially refundable based on timing

6. Emergency Situations and Exceptions

We understand that genuine emergencies occur. We may waive cancellation fees or penalties in cases of:

  • Medical emergencies requiring immediate attention
  • Serious illness (with 24-hour notice if possible)
  • Family emergencies
  • Severe weather conditions or natural disasters
  • Vehicle breakdowns or accidents (with documentation if requested)

If you experience an emergency, please:

  1. Contact us as soon as reasonably possible
  2. Explain your situation to our staff or management
  3. Provide documentation if requested (medical notes, police reports, etc.)

We will work with you on a case-by-case basis to find a fair solution.

7. Rescheduling Policy

We’re happy to reschedule appointments when possible:

  • Rescheduling requests made with proper notice incur no fees
  • We will work with you to find a new appointment time that fits your schedule
  • Popular times fill up quickly, so rescheduled appointments are subject to availability
  • Multiple rescheduling requests may require a deposit for future bookings

 

Tip: Book your next appointment before you leave the salon to secure your preferred day and time!

8. Walk-In Availability

While we welcome walk-in clients, please understand that:

  • Scheduled appointments always take priority
  • Walk-in availability varies based on current bookings
  • Wait times for walk-ins can range from minimal to several hours
  • During peak times (weekends, holidays, prom season), walk-ins may not be possible

Recommendation: To guarantee your preferred time and avoid disappointment, we strongly encourage booking appointments in advance through our online system or by phone.
